With blooming spring blooms, the final week of winter at the resort, spring produce, and so much more, a Niseko Central Golden Week stay is calling your name.
Read on to plan out your perfect Golden Week stay.
Final week to ski the slopes before the season ends
The snow at the base of the mountain may be dwindling, but don't let that stop you from hitting the slopes! Thanks to an impressive 10 metres of snowfall this season, the upper runs are still deep and expertly groomed on a daily basis, providing ideal spring skiing conditions.
This paired with having the slopes virtually all to yourself, gorgeous bluebird days and the delightful spring slush makes for a very enjoyable day up the mountain.
Grand Hirafu and Annupuri are due to keep the lifts spinning until Sunday 7 May (weather dependent), view the latest Grand Hirafu Spring Lift Operations Schedule here.
Indulge in special Golden Week dishes, to sample the best of delicious spring produce
Local restaurants are taking advantage of the delectable spring produce by offering exclusive Golden Week set menus for two, featuring the best of the season.
Pictured above is the Kasagumo set menu from Kumo Restaurant, and the Shunka set menu from An Dining.

Discover spring's blooms while enjoying the divine spring weather
Hokkaido is the final spot in the country to view the season's sakura blooms. Having reached full bloom on 21 April, the sakura will still be a gorgeous sight in and around Niseko for Golden Week.
Check out Experience Niseko's Sakura Blog here for must-see spots, and bloom forecast updates.
Wandering around Hirafu you can spot other signs of spring, with Butterbur sprouts popping up along the sidewalk, and trees beginning to turn a beautiful shade of green.
