Grand Hirafu Now Open for Winter 2016/17

It's exciting times here in Niseko, Japan, with the official start of the 2016/17 season with the opening of Grand Hirafu Mt Resort at the weekend. Riders were out and about early on Saturday morning eager to hit the slopes for their much-anticipated first runs for the season.

Families, friends, couples and those riding solo were there on open day, with many riders experiencing their first ever mountain time in Niseko. While only one course was opened, riders still had massive smiles on the faces being able to get their snow-fix early on in the season.

Here's all the details for the opened lifts and courses at Grand Hirafu so you can get ready to hit the slopes:

・Ace Quad Lift #2 Center 4 (transport lift)

COURSE
・Center course
*Other courses are closed due to insufficient snow condition. Please do not enter under any circumstances.
