Niseko locals and visitors have welcomed the newest snowfall to hit Niseko-Hirafu over the past week with around 8cm of snowfall recorded on Wednesday last week and 11.2cm predicted for today. With snow currently falling, Hirafu village is well on its way to becoming a snow-lovers paradise with Niseko Central properties, streets and cars all already covered in a blanket of beautiful fresh snow.

With now less than two weeks until the scheduled opening of the ski lifts in Niseko on November 23, the excitement around town for the 2016/17 winter season is building with each snowfall.
