This week has been a total win for us at Niseko and all of Hokkaido, as well as for our friends at the newest luxury boutique hotel in town that opened a few days ago, Ki Niseko.
To begin with, Niseko has been experiencing a lot of powder since last week, much to the delight of the skiers and snowboarders who are arriving by the hundreds. And now, Hokkaido was included as one of Travel + Leisure magazine's 50 Best Places to Travel in 2015. This will surely bring in more visitors - make sure you've booked your rooms ahead of time! In addition, Ki Niseko got a special mention of being a "new upscale ski-in, ski-out property... adjacent to the high-speed gondola" - the best part about this hotel!
