HT recently held our annual golf day for long-stay guests and suppliers
On August 22nd, Niseko Central held our annual golf competition at the Hilton Niseko Village Golf Course. We were fortunate enough to have glorious weather throughout the day and our guests, suppliers and staff all enjoyed themselves on the beautiful course.
The day started with everyone meeting at 7.30am and the first groups teed-off just after 8am. After 18 holes, everyone had the chance to dip into the onsen before lunch and the presentation of prizes. Thanks to our generous suppliers and sponsors, we had more prizes than competitors so everyone went home happy!
The winner was on our our long-stay guests, Yumiko Fujimoto, who recorded a gross score of 87 and a net score of 73. She topped the list of 40 players, but the top 20 all had net scores of under 80, so the standard was high across the board.

Summer in Hokkaido provides an ideal time to play golf in Japan. Unlike the main island of Honshu, Hokkaido has plenty of wide open spaces and so the courses are generally of a higher quality and on a more varied landscape.
