Every Spring the local residents of Niseko-Hirafu get together to clean up the village. It's actually a fantastic morning and a great example of all the residents working together to make our little home a more pleasant place.
Over Winter the snow hides much of the rubbish on the streets but now that it has all melted away, we could be left with a pile of mess for Summer if we didn't get together to sort it all out. It's pretty heart-warming to see everyone working hard and making an effort to clear up the rubbish that was left behind by guests over the Winter. Obviously the glorious weather helps and this week has been a lovely 20-25 degrees each and every day, with blue skies and only the lightest breeze.
