Worried that you might have been too late and missed all the flights to the best snow in the world? Well, worry not...we've had a dig around and found some great deals still out there.
Today is January 15th. It has been snowing non-stop for days...and we are now at well over 3 metres for the month. Already. In the village. The mountain is waist chest deep in powder now!
This Winter you should absolutely spend one of your evenings taking advantage of the Yumeguri Bus. This fantastic service runs from the Hirafu Welcome Centre and will take you out to various hot springs (and restaurants) in the Niseko area. It's an absolute bargain at 500 yen per ride one way, which at the very least will save you a taxi ride!
If you are wondering why you should be up here in Niseko instead of avoiding rocks in Hakuba, here is the reason. And probably worth remembering that January 11th and 12th had about 1.5 metres of snowfall over the weekend up here in Niseko!
Niseko Geisha are back with new activitiesBRAND NEW!!! They have set up a new GEISHA BAR in Kutchan. This is a fun and cheap way to meet a geisha for those with a budget. The Geisha Bar is listed as No. 27 on the Niseko Resort Map Kutchan section.
We are proud to be sponsoring the Weekly Taiko Drumming sessions in Hirafu. They will take place in front of Niseko Green Farm Cafe every Sunday this Winter from 4pm. Don't miss out!
After a sprinkling on Friday and a dusting on Saturday, the real stuff arrived overnight... come and join us in powder paradise!!!
Check out this story from NBC news...as usual Niseko is noted as the second snowiest resort in the world! (We'd dispute that and say number one, but fair enough!)
