Restaurants and Food Stalls in Hirafu continue to open up. "The Flying Fish - old fashioned fish & chips" is once again operating, right beside the familiar Seicomart along route 343.

Back again this winter serving fresh fish and chips, deep fried to order.
The well-natured proprietor speaks excellent English, so don't be afraid to line up and grab a bite if you feel the wait or options at Seicomart aren't working for you. There's nothing wrong with getting a little bit of the old familiar, even when on holiday in Japan!

Playing on some good U.K. pop-culture. Today, I really did keep calm and eat fish and chips.

It even is served on newspaper! (Might be a bit tough to read though!)
